Amsterdam

Course Description

The first hands-on Amsterdam Foot & Ankle Course was organised in 2000. In 2014 an anual advanced course was added. Over the years these annual courses gained popularity which resulted in a waiting list of more than 1000 orthopedic surgeons. After 17 successful editions of the regular course and 3 editions of the advanced course in July 2016 the  last course was organised in Amsterdam. Since then Ankleplatform organises courses 'on tour' with succesfull editions in Sint Petersburg, Madrid, Shanghai and Santiago de Chile. And there are many others to follow.

These 'on tour' courses are organised by Ankleplatform in cooperation with leading experts in the world and focus on Arthroscopy of the Hindfoot and Ankle. Depending on the location the program includes Cadaver Lab Sessions, Lectures, Interactive Computer Courses, Live surgical demonstrations, Fireside Quiz. Lectures are interactive and where possible supported by a Wireless Voting System for live feedback.

For all courses credits are requested by the official councils.

The International Society for Arthroscopy, Knee surgery, and Orthopaedic Sports medicine (ISAKOS) and the European Society of Sports Traumatology Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA) provide their patronage.
