Overview of posterior side of the calcaneus.
The medial portal can be made under direct vision as in this image. It can also be made directly with the lateral portal.
The superoposterior side of the calcaneus is shaved off. Changing portals is helpfull to adress the entire area.
Portals can be changed to address the wntire superoposterior calcaneus.

It is important to also address the lateral (this picture) and medial borders of the posterosuperior calcaneus.
