Surgical Procedure
After introduction of the arthroscope, the OCD is located and the medial portal is created under direct vision.
A probe is inserted to explore the defect.
The OCD is debrided by the bonecutter.
After primairy debridement the OCD borders are carefully inspected and tested. The final loose ridges are removed using the bonecutter shaver.
A microfracture probe is inserted to stimulate bleeding.
After microfracturing the bleeding is checked under direct vision.
