In collaboration with Professor Jean Brilhault, from the Department of Orthopedics and Trauma in Hôpital Trousseau in France, we have produced a series of surgical technique video's for correction of foot deformities. This POW is showing a procedure on the Cavus Foot: the Steindler’s Stripping Technique. Ankleplatform is greatful to Professor Brilhault for sharing his knowledge and techniques with us. 

In this patient the following procedures were sequentially performed in order to correct the Fixed Cavovarus deformity:

1. Steindler stripping (CLICK HERE for the video of the technique)
2. Wedge tarsectomy fixed with 2 H-plates : one lateral and one medial.
3. Basal first metatarsal osteotomy fixed with mini Tplate
4. IP arthrodesis fixed with 3.5 screw
5. Jones transfer
