Description
A 60-years old male patient with lateral pain on the right ankle. No trauma history. With palpation there is a tenderness and swelling posterolateral over the peroneal tendon.

The three MRI images are from proximal to distal. Image 2 shows flattening of the peroneus brevis tendon and image 3 shows a longitudinal split tear of the peroneus brevis tendon.
Picture 5: This MRI image is located more distal and shows a degenerative enlarged peroneus brevis tendon.
