'Loose Bodies' is the First Orthopedic Composition. The world premiere was in The Scheepvaartmuseum in Amsterdam on May 23, 2014 during the biennial ESSKA Congress. From orthopedic perspective a Loose Body is a small fragment of cartilage that moves freely around in joint fluid. After thorough preparation in the AMC Hospital in Amsterdam, Eric was inspired to give it a musical interpretation. In the video 'Loose Bodies' is performed by Dutch trumpeter Eric Vloeimans and Belgian accordionist Tuur Florizoone.
