Post-traumatic phalangeal OCD in osteoartritic MTP-1 joint

Description

After axial compression trauma during soccer, a 25 years old male experienced continuous deep pain of the right MTP-1 joint.

Picture 1: MRI revealed a phalangeal OCD and signs of degeneration at the medial site of the first metatarsal bone

The degeneration was regarded as preexistent and not the cause of the current complaints. It's considered to perform arthroscopy with microfracturing of the central phalangeal defect only.
