Description
A year 25 year old professional altlete with persisting posterolateral deep ankle pain after an eversion trauma. On a MRI scan a partial rupture of the transverse ligament was seen with scar tissue formation. On clinical examination no signs of syndesmotic instability.
A posterior arthroscopy with debridement of the ligament remains was performed.
